Moon:

Moon is Earth's only natural satellite.Although not the largest natural satellite inthe Solar System, among the satellites of major planets it is the largest relative tothe size of the object it orbits (its primary). It is the second-densest satellite among those whose densities are known (after Jupiter's satellite Io).The Moon is thought to have formed approximately 4.5 billion years ago, not long after Earth. 

चंद्रमा:

चंद्रमा पृथ्वी का एकमात्र प्राकृतिक उपग्रह है। हालांकि प्रमुख ग्रहों के उपग्रहों में से सबसे बड़ा प्राकृतिक उपग्रह इंटहे सोलर सिस्टम नहीं है, यह उस वस्तु (इसकी प्राथमिक) की सबसे बड़ी सापेक्ष आकार है।  यह उन लोगों में दूसरा सबसे सघन उपग्रह है, जिनकी घनत्व ज्ञात है (बृहस्पति के उपग्रह Io के बाद)। चंद्रमा के बारे में माना जाता है कि यह लगभग 4.5 बिलियन साल पहले बना था, जो पृथ्वी के बहुत बाद में नहीं था।
