Internet(इंटरनेट)

Internet

The Internet is a global network connecting millions of computers. More than 190 countries are linked into exchanges of data, news and opinions. According to Internet Live Stats, as of December 30, 2014 there was an estimated 3,037,608,300 Internet users worldwide. The number of Internet users represents nearly 40 percent of the world's population. The largest number of Internet users by country is China, followed by the United States and India. In September 2014, the total number of websites with a unique hostname online exceeded 1 billion. This is an increase from one website (info.cern.ch) in 1991.
A local area network (LAN) is a group of computers and associated devices that share a common communications line or wireless link to a server.
A database is an organized collection of data. The data is typically organized to model aspects of reality in a way that supports processes requiring information, such as modelling the availability of rooms in hotels in a way that supports finding a hotel with vacancies.

Key Lessons from the Movie- ‘3 Idiots

Key Lesson from 3Idiot Movie  Key Lessons from the Movie- ‘3 Idiots’: Every movie has a meaning, carrying a message. However, it depends upon the viewer to grab the message and apply the same in life. The bollywood blockbuster ‘3 Idiots’ is an inspiring story of three  students Rancho, Farhan Qureshi and Raju Rastogi who have joined the Imperial College of Engineering. In brief, the five key lessons that we can draw from the movie can well be described below.  Chase excellence, instead of success, and success will follow and run after you: Rancho, who is an orphaned boy, had got interest in engineering since his early childhood. He, right from the very beginning till the end, sticks to his conviction that it is not success in life but excellence that must be pursued with passion. His words, ‘make your passion, your profession’ sets the tone around which the plot of the movie is woven. Rancho pursues his goal with passion and hence emerges as the student of the...

5 Historic ISRO Missions That Redefined India’s Space Legacy

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has transformed from a modest agency into a global space powerhouse. From discovering water on the Moon to reaching Mars in a single shot, these five missions represent the "Big Five" of Indian space exploration. 1. Chandrayaan-1 (2008): The Mission That Found Water Launched on October 22, 2008, Chandrayaan-1 was India's first step toward the Moon. While it was an orbiter mission, its impact was felt worldwide. The Breakthrough:  It provided the first conclusive evidence of  water molecules (H2O) and hydroxyl (OH)  on the lunar surface. Legacy:  This discovery shifted the global narrative of lunar exploration, turning the "dry" Moon into a potential base for future human colonies. 2. Mangalyaan (2013): First Attempt, Global Success The Mars Orbiter Mission (MOM) made India the first country in the world to reach Martian orbit on its  very first attempt . The "Bahubali" of Efficiency:  Costing on...

Uranium (यूरेनियम)

Uranium( यूरेनियम): Uranium: Uranium is a very heavy metal which can be used as an abundant source of concentrated energy. Many contemporary uses of uranium exploit its unique nuclear properties. Uranium-235 has the distinction of being the only naturally occurring fissile isotope. Uranium-238 is fissionable by fast neutrons, and is fertile, meaning it can be transmuted to fissile plutonium-239 in a nuclear reactor. Another fissile isotope, uranium-233, can be produced from natural thorium and is also important in nuclear technology. While uranium-238 has a small probability for spontaneous fission or even induced fission with fast neutrons, uranium-235 and to a lesser degree uranium-233 have a much higher fission cross-section for slow neutrons. In sufficient concentration, these isotopes maintain a sustained nuclear chain reaction. This generates the heat in nuclear power reactors, and produces the fissile material for nuclear weapons. Depleted uranium (238U) ...
